Approved in 42 minutes, Nothing Due Till Day 60 Terms and Conditions

“Approved in 42, 2 months till due” (the “Offer”) is offered by Gravity Auto Sales (“Gravity”, “we”, “us”), 24717 Gratiot Ave, Eastpointe, MI 48021. This page is the complete set of terms. If an ad, post, text, or salesperson says something different, this page controls.

The Offer Period begins September 1, 2026 and has no set end date. To qualify you must submit a complete credit application during the Offer Period and take delivery within 7 days after the Offer Period ends. We may end the Offer early or extend it; we will update this page. Anyone who already earned a benefit keeps it.

Retail customers age 18 or older buying a vehicle for personal use from our Eastpointe location. Open to all credit situations. Not available to Gravity employees or their immediate family, dealers, brokers, wholesalers, or on fleet or export sales.

In-stock used vehicles offered for retail sale during the Offer Period with a posted selling price of $15,000 or less, before tax, title, and fees. A vehicle priced at exactly $15,000 qualifies; anything above does not. Every vehicle is sold with the FTC Buyers Guide posted on it. This Offer does not change what the Buyers Guide says and does not add a warranty.

Sales tax, title, registration, and plate fees are extra and set by the State of Michigan. Our documentary fee does not exceed the maximum set by Michigan law.

Financing is subject to credit approval. Not everyone will qualify. Gravity finances most purchases in-house; some purchases may be placed with an outside lender. Rates, terms, required money down, and payment dates are set by the lender and depend on your credit, income, and the vehicle. We work with every credit situation, but we do not promise that any application will be approved. Retail installment contracts are governed by the Michigan Motor Vehicle Sales Finance Act.

Money down. Every financed purchase under this Offer requires a down payment. The amount depends on the vehicle price and your credit and is set by the lender, typically 10 to 20 percent of the vehicle price. The same rule applies to every customer. Trade-in equity may count toward it at the lender’s discretion. Being approved does not remove this requirement.

We make your first payment. Your loan starts on the contract date and runs on its normal schedule, with the first monthly payment due about 30 days after signing. Under this Offer, Gravity pays that first monthly payment for you. Your first payment out of your own pocket is the second one, due about 60 days after signing. Interest accrues on the loan from the contract date as it normally would; this Offer does not change your rate, term, or total number of payments, it pays one of them. The payment Gravity makes equals one regular monthly payment on your contract, up to $500. If your purchase is placed with an outside lender, Gravity pays the lender directly on your behalf. This benefit has no cash value, is not a rebate, and is not paid to you. Down payment, APR, and term depend on your credit and the vehicle. Example, for illustration only: $10,000 financed at 9.9% APR for 60 months, monthly payment $211.98; Gravity pays payment 1, your first payment is payment 2 on day 60; your terms will differ.

The 42-minute promise.

• Clock Start is the moment you have done all three: (1) completed our credit application in full and signed the credit authorization, (2) given us each of these: valid driver’s license, most recent pay stub or other proof of income, proof of residence, and proof of insurance or ability to insure, and (3) told us which vehicle you are applying for. We will text or email you the Clock Start time when it begins.
• Clock Stop is the moment we tell you the decision: approved, approved with conditions, or declined. “Declined” counts as a decision.
• The clock runs only during our posted business hours: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM. A Clock Start outside those hours begins when we next open. We sometimes stay open later; the clock still stops at 8:00 PM and resumes the next business morning.
• Time waiting on you does not count. If we ask for a listed document, a signature, or a callback, the clock pauses until we receive it.
• The promise covers our whole decision time, including any outside lender we use. If we are slow, that is on us. The promise is about when you get an answer, not what the answer is. Approval is never guaranteed.

Our contribution. For every vehicle sold under this Offer during the Offer Period, we donate $250 to a Foundation of your choice from these options: Detroit Rescue Mission Ministries · City Rescue Mission of Lansing · Covenant House Michigan · Pope Francis Center · Cass Community Social Services. If we miss the 42-minute promise on your purchase, the donation for your vehicle doubles to $500. There is no cap on the total. The donation is made by us, not by you, and is not a tax deduction for you. We will publish the number of vehicles sold and the total donated within 30 days after the Offer Period ends. The charity has approved the use of its name in this Offer.

Tell us which offer. We run more than one offer at a time and each has its own terms. To receive this Offer, tell us you are here for “Approved in 42, Nothing Due” before you sign a purchase agreement. Any of these count: selecting it on our online form, saying it in a text or call, or telling your salesperson at the desk. If you never mention it before signing, this Offer does not apply to that sale. You may not switch offers after signing.

The deferred first payment is written into your retail installment contract at signing. Not transferable.

Limit one benefit per customer, per household, and per vehicle. This Offer cannot be combined with any other Gravity offer, coupon, or advertised special, including the “First-Timer September Sprint”. If you qualify for more than one, choose one at purchase.

The 42-minute promise and the doubled donation do not apply if any of these happen: (1) information on your application is false or belongs to someone else; (2) you apply in a name other than the buyer’s; (3) you do not provide a listed document within 24 hours of our second written request; (4) you decline the credit check; (5) you miss a scheduled appointment or callback that is part of the process without rescheduling; (6) you ask us to delay submitting your application. If something happens that this list does not cover and we believe it was done to run out the clock, we may decline the make-good, but only if we tell you in writing what happened and why, and you may ask Glenn Griesmann to review it.

We may correct typographical errors on this page or in an ad. If an ad and this page conflict, this page controls. We may end or change the Offer for future customers at any time; we will never take back a benefit you already earned.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of Macomb County, Michigan. Nothing here limits your rights under the Michigan Consumer Protection Act or federal law.
